At Hyperfine, Dr. Jonathan Rothberg and his team of scientists and engineers set out to put MR imaging within reach of every patient regardless of location—in any healthcare facility in any country across the globe. While the Hyperfine team kept the fundamental principles of MRI and its core components, they turned just about everything else about MRI on its head. The team designed for simplicity while leveraging the million-fold improvement in computing power since the first MRI systems were designed over 40 years ago.

Headed by Dr. Jonathan Rothberg, Liminal is a non-invasive two-way interface to the brain. Starting with super practical applications for Epilepsy, and the World’s first “brain monitor”. With deep learning, they are pushing the boundaries of seizure prediction, to allow patients to prepare for an event, or know when they are in the clear.
